Co-sponsorship of Events/Programs

Policy

The Stanford Center on Ethics co-sponsors projects that are consistent with its core mission: to promote research, teaching and public debate on ethical issues. In allocating scarce resources and lending the Center's endorsement to projects developed by other organizations, we first evaluate the consistency between the project's objectives and the Center's core concerns. If those criteria are met, we consider: the amount of money, time, and related support requested, and the likelihood that the project will foster interdisciplinary connections between scholars and students at Stanford University and with local communities and policy makers.
